Biolite Clinic Policies & Consent

Our policies are designed to ensure your safety and care, in line with international best practices.

Health & Medical Disclosure

Clients must complete the Biolite Consultation Form and disclose all relevant health conditions, allergies, medications, and past/present treatments. Full and accurate disclosure is the client’s responsibility to ensure safety and optimal results.

Appointments

• Please arrive on time. Late arrivals will shorten your session but will be charged in full.
• Confirmations are sent 2 days prior; reminders 1 day before.
• A refundable security deposit of AED 367.50 may be requested and applied toward treatment.
• Cancellations/rescheduling require 24 hours’ notice. No-shows result in deposit forfeiture and may be charged in full.

Payments & Fees

• Payments accepted: cash, credit card, or online transfer. Cheques not accepted.
• Outstanding balances must be cleared before future treatments. Unsettled accounts beyond 48 hours may be referred to Dubai Police; ID may be held until resolved.
• Prices are subject to change, though confirmed bookings are honored.

Refunds & Packages

• Treatments are non-refundable once commenced. At management discretion, fees may be credited toward alternative treatments.
•  Packages are valid for 6 months. Missed sessions (no-shows) will be deducted.
• Packages and special offers are non-transferable and must be used by the same client.

Products

Products once purchased are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

Client Belongings

A jewelry box is provided for safekeeping. Biolite is not responsible for lost property.

Photography & Confidentiality

Clinical photographs may be taken for diagnostic and treatment purposes. These are stored securely in your medical record. All personal health information is treated with strict confidentiality, in line with UAE and DHA/NABIDH regulations.

Treatment Disclaimer

Biolite does not guarantee outcomes, as results vary depending on individual factors (healing, hormones, lifestyle). Clients must follow pre- and post-treatment advice, promptly report side effects, and avoid self-medication.

Additional Policies

• Services are only provided to individuals aged 18+, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian with consent.
• Treatments are subject to practitioner assessment and may be declined if deemed unsuitable for medical or safety reasons.
• Complaints must be submitted in writing to carmenita@biolitedubai.com and will be addressed personally.

Children & Guests

For safety and privacy, children and accompanying guests are not permitted in treatment rooms unless prior approval is granted.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for the stated period (typically 6–12 months) and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.

Medical Contraindications

Treatments cannot be performed if contraindications exist (e.g., pregnancy, active infections, uncontrolled health conditions). The practitioner’s decision is final in determining suitability for treatment.

Conduct & Respect

Biolite maintains a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior toward staff. Services will be terminated immediately and legal action may be taken if required.

Infection Control

Clients must not attend appointments if experiencing fever, flu-like symptoms, or contagious illness. Treatments may be rescheduled to ensure the safety of staff and other clients.

Insurance & Liability

All treatments are elective. Clients acknowledge that results vary individually. Biolite is not liable for complications if pre- and post-care advice is not followed.

Biolite Clinic is committed to providing accessible and respectful care for people of determination. Our facilities are equipped with wheelchair access and lifts. Please contact management in advance for any specific assistance or accommodations you may require.
