Top Five Minimally-invasive Clinical Treatments

Want to combat wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin? We have the right set of treatments for you.

We are seeing a shift in the approach to cosmetic procedures: The negative perception of it being considered unsafe and superficial is radically changing. The world is now accepting medically-backed aesthetician measures as a reliable way of improving their personal wellbeing. More and more people are opting for a minimally-invasive clinical treatment to enhance their appearances. According to a 2019 survey, which was conducted on 2,021 U.S. adults, it was revealed that 33 percent surveyors are considering non- or minimally-invasive clinical treatments.

A study published in the Journal of American Society of Plastic Surgeons found that “the future demand in cosmetic surgery will be driven largely by nonsurgical procedures.” Non- or minimally-invasive clinical treatments are known for having not just physical but also psychological benefits. A 2017 study done by the Iranian Journal of Public Health concluded that “botox is effective for the treatment of patients with major depression and it has a high safety.”

In recent years, there has been a great development in the world of non- and minimally-invasive clinical treatments. These procedures successfully treat all signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, and pigmentation. They also improve the skin’s texture and tone. With that, these clinical treatments do not require hospitalization or bed rest.

Here are some highly popular minimally-invasive clinical treatments that give instant results and have minimum downtime:

Endymed Intensif

The Endymed Intensif is an advanced RF (radio-frequency) skin treatment that stimulates elastin and collagen production, which in turn reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also clears acne scars and tightens pores. In this aesthetic treatment, microneedling (backed by radiofrequency energy) is done in a phase-controlled manner. The needles penetrate three layers of skin, depending on the results you are seeking. In the first phase the thin and wrinkled skin layer is penetrated, in the second phase, the dermal layer is reached where collagen cells are activated, and the third phase consists of the adipose layer where fat cells are found. This treatment gives you minimal discomfort.

E-Matrix

In E-Matrix treatment radio frequency energy is used to target collagen production. This latest technology is more advanced than laser treatments as it directly targets the collagen cells and does not cause skin scabbing that often happens with harsh laser treatments. It is used to reduce fine lines, minimize scars, and smoothen the skin texture. Some people might experience a numbing sensation after the procedure but this subdues after three to seven hours. While downtime is generally not required after an E-Matrix sitting but some people with ultra-sensitive skin may need to rest for a day.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy is a non-invasive clinical treatment that is clinically proven to remove wrinkles and sagging skin from the chin, back, shoulders, chest, and eyebrows. In this treatment ultrasound energy is focussed on the affected area that triggers natural collagen production. The chest treatment takes close to 30 minutes, while the face and neck treatment can take anywhere between 60 minutes to 90 minutes. Though you will get supple and smooth skin immediately after the treatment, however, the full impact of the treatment will emerge gradually over 30 to 60 days. The reason for delayed results is that toxin-free collagen production starts tightening the skin over time.

Lucid Q Carbon Peel

The Lucid Q Carbon Peel is an exfoliating non-invasive treatment. This procedure is widely used to get even skin tone, remove sunburns, scarring, fine lines, and pigmentation. A thin layer of carbon-based solution is applied to the skin, which is then exposed to the mild laser. The laser breaks down the carbon and along with it sheds the dead skin layer. A side benefit of Lucid Q treatment is acne control, because carbon solution shrinks sebum-producing glands that are responsible for frequent breakouts.

Dermal Fillers

Derma fillers are quick, affordable, and a great minimally- invasive and anti-ageing clinical treatment. They are a safe and prompt way of removing creases around the eyes, cheek, and mouth. The dermal fillers make up for the loss of collagen and hyaluronic acid. What sets them apart from other cosmetic procedures is that they need no recovery time and can be paired with other treatments. Fillers are suitable for all skin types and are accessible at most aesthetician studios.
