The Cryo Freeze Facial Treatment

With the recent buzz around the Cryo freeze facial, it’s easy to see why it is popular with both celebrities and locals alike. To begin with it employs a revolutionary cryo-mist which rapidly chills the surface of the skin to minus 160 C . Furthermore it is a non-invasive facial treatment which means it works by means of Cryotherapy or “freeze therapy”. The basic premise of the facial is that the chilled air rapidly cools the skin which causes a constriction of the microcirculation vessels, followed very quickly by a vasodilatation due to increased release of transmitter substances.

This process works by stimulating the microcirculation of the blood flow, creating better oxygenation of skin cells. It also helps enhance the penetration of very active & highly potent vitamin based serums containing a multitude of vitamins, minerals and amino acids to rejuvenate the skin and protects it against free radicals. As a result one can expect collagen production to be greatly enhanced.

The Cryo freeze facial treatment is for all skin types and helps to diminish signs of aging, pigmentation and inhibits acne.

The term “cryotherapy” comes from the Greek cryo meaning cold, and therapy meaning cure. Furthermore Cryotherapy has been used as early as the seventeenth century for therapy and rehabilitation.

To get a better understanding about the facial treatment the skin is briefly ‘frozen’ with the cryo mist, which activates as a response by increasing collagen production in deeper layers (similar to lasers treatments of the face, where very hot temperatures are used). As a result the skin regains elasticity and appears much smoother, even-toned, significantly improving conditions such as cellulite and aging skin.

As a result of the skin vessels and capillaries undergoing a severe vasoconstriction followed by vasodilation after the procedure, this helps to flush toxins and other stored deposits out of the layers of the skin after several treatments.
